What's in the box?
The AI Answer Box is the NAS 5 AI with 64 GB integrated memory and two 8 TB NAS drives installed as a mirror (8 TB usable), set up with the Banksy software and tested before it ships. Three 3.5-inch bays and the open NVMe slots are free for more drives, which you can add below. Fully Loaded is the complete kit: five 32 TB NAS drives installed and configured (160 TB of drives; 128 TB usable with one-drive protection, or 96 TB with two).
Is there a warranty?
Yes: 2-year warranty from the manufacturer on the hardware; claims go directly to the manufacturer. Banksy AI LLC gives no separate warranty. Warranty terms available on request. The 14-day dead-on-arrival / defect return in the pre-order terms still applies.
When does it ship?
About 8 weeks after you order. Boxes come from a factory batch (the first batch is scheduled for February 2027), then we set up and test yours and ship it. We email you your ship date within two business days of your order, and we set up and test your box before it ships. If that slips, we'll tell you in writing.
Why Fully Loaded?
Because the box is a NAS as well as an AI. Fully Loaded comes with all five bays filled with 32 TB drives (160 TB, 128 TB usable), so it replaces the file server or cloud storage plan you'd otherwise pay for, and everything you save to it is something the AI can answer questions about.
What does the $100 price lock do?
It holds today's prices for 45 days from the day you pay: $4,195 for the AI Answer Box, $9,995 for Fully Loaded, and the add-on prices listed above.
How do I add drives?
Pick them in the add-ons list when you order: NVMe 2 / 4 / 8 TB for the open M.2 slots, and 3.5-inch NAS drives from 4 to 32 TB for the three open bays. We install, configure and test them before shipping. You can also fill the bays yourself later with any SATA drive. Drive prices follow the market and change often; a $100 price lock holds them for 45 days.
Where does my data go?
It stays on the box in your office. The box runs its AI models locally; anything that would leave (an email, a text, a booking) waits for your approval.
